From humble beginnings...

Nearly forty years ago the Lord called together a small group of faithful believers. From humble beginnings in a garage, this group grew to what Emmanuel Church has become today.

We all seek to grow for His glory and honour. What a joy to see the work of God in so many lives.

Prayer

  • We lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ that are in anyway suffering. We especially think of Chris Hodgson, Nick van Rensburg, Austin Dundas, Maud van Dyk, Bessie Dearham, Ann Hollern and Pieter Rossouw.
  • We pray too for our Youth and Leaders who are about to leave for the Youth Camp - that they may enjoy their time spent with fellow Christians and that our Lord might watch over them and keep them safe.
  • "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." John 15 : 5, 8
